ARTS ELEVATED AT RST

The Arts Elevated program is an opportunity to provide an enhanced airport experience, lift spirits, and provide comfort and care to customers through dynamic showcases of local and regional artists.

The mission of the Arts Elevated Advisory Committee is, “To manage an art collection of style, diversity, and beauty to be enjoyed by our customers and employees that also promotes public art and enhances the airport environment.”

HOW IT WORKS

A call for art will be released annually in partnership with Greater Rochester Arts and Cultural Trust, inviting artists to submit artwork for consideration. The Arts Elevated Advisory Committee will jury the artwork and select artists to be displayed at the Rochester International Airport. The artwork is available for purchase once on display.

Artwork will be displayed for a term of ten months. The Rochester International Airport will be responsible for creating identification labels. If sold during that time period, the Rochester International Airport will receive a 20% commission.
