Born in Charlotte, NC in 1989, Brooke Burch has called Rochester, MN home since the age of 3. Their passion for fashion and art began at 5, evolving from childhood hand-sewing to mastering machines by age 11 with guidance from their grandmother. Engaging in diverse activities, Burch was a 4H member, clarinetist in high school bands, an Upward Bound student, and served as Art Club President.
In 2007, Burch embarked on studies at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where they served on the Student Senate, played in bands, and led the Black Student Union. College brought transformative experiences, including internships in New York City and studying fashion in London. In 2012, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Apparel Design and Manufacturing.
Becoming a mother to Teigen in 2014, he became Burch’s joy and muse. Since 2015, they have dedicated themselves to their full-time custom sewing and alterations business, embracing the joy of design and expressing gratitude for the opportunity to turn passion into a profession.
