The Story

Commissioned by the Rochester Downtown Alliance, this mural was painted over three weeks in summer 2019. Local residents voted on the color palette through an online survey — over 800 responses came in within 48 hours. Santos worked with a team of five local youth artists who learned her signature botanical technique during the project.
